Today socially distanced protests are taking place all over the UK demanding the UK ends its complicity in Israel’s war crimes, six years after Israel ended its 51 day aerial bombardment and ground invasion of besieged Gaza, killing over 2,200 Palestinians.

As Israel attacks Gaza yet again, subjecting the besieged strip to 10 consecutive nights of bombing, will you join your local action?

In addition, the UK continues to purchase high-tech weaponry from Israel, advertised as “battle-tested” on the Palestinian people in Gaza.

As Israel continues to murder Palestinians with impunity, Palestinian civil society has called for states to take effective action to hold Israel to account for its egregious human rights violations, including by introducing a two-way arms embargo now.

Write to your MP and demand they support a two-way arms embargo on Israel.

Financial institutions such as HSBC invest in and provide financial services to companies that supply Israel with weapons. This includes BAE Systems and Raytheon. Weapons with both BAE and Raytheon components were used by Israel in 2014. That’s why many of the protests today take place outside HSBC branches.

Write to HSBC’s management and tell them to #StopArmingIsrael.

Both students and local government pension scheme members are speaking out for justice, campaigning to get their institutions to divest from all companies complicit in Israel’s war crimes.
