PUT THE POLITICIANS ON THE MINIMUM WAGE AND WATCH HOW FAST THINGS CHANGE
Civilisation has operated in two ways - To make one part of society more affluent and the other more wretched than would have been the lot of either in a natural state
There are Natural Rights and Civil Rights. Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness
Where Our Power to Execute Our Natural Rights is Perfect, Government has No Legitimate Jurisdiction
When the Forces for War are Greater than the Forces for Peace   Then the World is in Danger
Politics is not a Dirty Word. It is a Way of Life. How is Your Way of Life Today ?

The 8th October 2018 will go down as a Historic Day for the Morning Star / DAILY WORKER

DW
The day after RBS, 10 Years ago went belly up

The Radical
11th Oct 2018

in the Banking Crash of 7th October 2008

(And had to be bailed out by the people ( Labour Government ))

“The 8th Oct 2018”

So the day after, ten years later the Morning Staronline needs bailing out by the people, as it commits itself  to the Internet and with the Morning Star E-Edition all sections of the Morningstaronline on sale for your money.

Not a very Socialist idea.

“Not only for sale, but in exchange for a subscription fee where

we need to know who you are”.

(Viewings can only be free for 20 articles a month).

Smacks of BIG BROTHER CAPITALISM don’t you think ?

So how long will it be before the “daily” Paper edition closes,
and no longer will be seen with the Racing Post on the bottom shelf of a few newsagents.

Technically , “supporter subscribers”  will be able to download the E Copy and print it if they wish but historically only those with computers and printers will be able collect article memorabilia.

Is it a sad day for the Morning Star ?

Not as sad as the day the name was changed from the  Daily Worker, says the Radical

However I never like to be thought of as smuggly saying “I told you so” when at the turn of the century I tried to persuade the Daily Worker to go online, so I hope there is a campaign started now to replace the daily with a weekend paper edition, called The Worker on Sunday,
because I think it could be a great success and so to keep the daily Staronline free to view.

IT COULD STILL CONSIDER ITSELF AS A DAILY ?

The Worker on Sunday would need to be all things to all peoples.
Non of the boring and repetitive doom and gloom.

But firey and furious, inclusive and intuitive, educational and exciting, socialist and shocking.

To Be a Paper and Online edition or Not To Be ?

Taking its brief from rightsandwrongs.co.uk with Music and a Great Search Engine, Quick Links to the daily online edition and other socialist websites?

I would like to see political and social debates as well a what happened on this day in history ?

(8 Oct, 1941 – World War II Moscow
1941 : German armies have mounted an all out offensive towards Moscow in an attempt to beat the winter, they are now only 125 miles from the Russian capital itself. Hitler believes that conquering the Soviet Union early will provide a great source of supplies and that Russian armies are close to collapse and defeat. )

Afterall we must not forget its the only International Socialist Daily Newspaper in the Western World ?
