So the day after, ten years later the Morning Staronline needs bailing out by the people, as it commits itself to the Internet and with the Morning Star E-Edition all sections of the Morningstaronline on sale for your money.
Not a very Socialist idea.

we need to know who you are”.
(Viewings can only be free for 20 articles a month).
Smacks of BIG BROTHER CAPITALISM don’t you think ?
So how long will it be before the “daily” Paper edition closes,
and no longer will be seen with the Racing Post on the bottom shelf of a few newsagents.
Technically , “supporter subscribers” will be able to download the E Copy and print it if they wish but historically only those with computers and printers will be able collect article memorabilia.
Is it a sad day for the Morning Star ?
Not as sad as the day the name was changed from the Daily Worker, says the Radical
However I never like to be thought of as smuggly saying “I told you so” when at the turn of the century I tried to persuade the Daily Worker to go online, so I hope there is a campaign started now to replace the daily with a weekend paper edition, called The Worker on Sunday,
because I think it could be a great success and so to keep the daily Staronline free to view.
IT COULD STILL CONSIDER ITSELF AS A DAILY ?
The Worker on Sunday would need to be all things to all peoples.
Non of the boring and repetitive doom and gloom.
But firey and furious, inclusive and intuitive, educational and exciting, socialist and shocking.
To Be a Paper and Online edition or Not To Be ?
