PUT THE POLITICIANS ON THE MINIMUM WAGE AND WATCH HOW FAST THINGS CHANGE
Civilisation has operated in two ways - To make one part of society more affluent and the other more wretched than would have been the lot of either in a natural state
There are Natural Rights and Civil Rights. Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness
Where Our Power to Execute Our Natural Rights is Perfect, Government has No Legitimate Jurisdiction

The 2nd Test Match v Pakistan

England won within 4 days and 330 spare runs-

The Radical- 26th July 2016-

and it was all according to the Manchester weather.-

Well done England – Just one test apiece now !

But did you pay £29 for a seat to watch Cook drop a dolly of a catch ?

The sad and sorry defeat of the Pakistani team.

That Cook declared when he was 76 and Root was 71, not out

though he took 130 balls to get his while Root took 48.

He couldn’t risk the possibility of Joe getting to 100 first ?

And it turned out that non of the three innings was necessary.

It was an unnecessary risk that Cook took.

It took two sessions out of the occasion

Poor Hales and even more sad was Stokes injury.

He bowled and batted well and hope he is ready for Edgbaston,

a week on Thursday

Joe Root  deserved the man of the match

Moeen cost 88 runs for his 3 wickets

while Anderson and Woakes took less than half that.

And I always believed spinners were there

to contain the runs and speed up the over rate, as well as take wickets,

not buy them.

The thirds and last test will not be the same story.

The Pakistanis are too good for that.

So we wait to see what the political selectors,

most of whom have never played the game, decide the team.

Just ask GB and MV to decide, as if they could ever agree !
