PUT THE POLITICIANS ON THE MINIMUM WAGE AND WATCH HOW FAST THINGS CHANGE
Civilisation has operated in two ways - To make one part of society more affluent and the other more wretched than would have been the lot of either in a natural state
There are Natural Rights and Civil Rights. Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness
Where Our Power to Execute Our Natural Rights is Perfect, Government has No Legitimate Jurisdiction
When the Forces for War are Greater than the Forces for Peace   Then the World is in Danger

MOEEN ALI IS A SOMETIME “B” PLAYER

I PREDICT HE WILL NOT SET THE TEAM ALIGHT IF CHOSEN TO PLAY

HE IS NOT AN OPENER, NOT AN ALLROUNDER

AND NOT AS CONSISTENT  A BOWLER AS BESS OR LEACH

IT WILL CONFIRM THE INEPTITUTE OF SILVERWOOD AND ROOT

AND WHY BUTTLER DOESNT WANT ANY PART OF IT.

THE RADICAL HAS CHOSEN HIS ELEVEN ON THIS WEBSITE AND EXPECTS INDIA TO WALLOP ENGLAND

AT LORDS IF THERE IS ANY DEVIATION FROM HIS ELEVEN.

THATS MORE THAN THE TMS TEAM WOULD DO TO STICK THEIR NECKS ON THE BLOCK

England v India: Moeen Ali added to squad for second Test at Lord’s

‘He’s in the mood!’ – Watch Moeen hit three sixes in a row

Worcestershire all-rounder Moeen Ali has been added to the England squad for the second Test against India.

Moeen, 34, last played Test cricket in February in the second match of the series against India at Chennai.

That was his first Test since the Ashes opener at Edgbaston in 2019.

Fellow all-rounders Ben Stokes and Chris Woakes are currently unavailable for England, who were outplayed for large periods as they drew last week’s series opener at Trent Bridge.

Moeen has represented England in limited-overs cricket this summer while being captain of Birmingham Phoenix in The Hundred, helping them to the top of the men’s table.

“He’s been called into the squad because of his capabilities with both bat and ball,” said England captain Joe Root.

“He’s in serious form at the minute, albeit in the short format, but we all know what he is capable of in the Test arena.

“He’s a great contender to play in the next Test. We haven’t been to the ground yet so we will need to look at conditions and weigh things up but he’s in a great position to potentially play.”

England squad: Joe Root (capt), Moeen Ali, James Anderson, Jonny Bairstow (wk), Dom Bess, Stuart Broad, Rory Burns, Jos Buttler (wk), Zak Crawley, Sam Curran, Haseeb Hameed, Dan Lawrence, Jack Leach, Craig Overton, Ollie Pope, Ollie Robinson, Dom Sibley, Mark Wood.
