Posters at Lincoln Hospital
Senior & Junior Doctors, Nurses, People’s Assembly Supporters , and the Public , turned out at 8am in Lincoln on a Dark, Cold, Wet and Windy morning at Lincoln County Hospital.
The picket held outside the Main Hospital Entrance was BMA official and consisted of Junior Doctors in Training and Practice, Nurses in post and retired. The TUSC Candidate for the Lincoln Constituency was their with an impressive People’s Assembly banner in support of the Junior Doctors
One Lincoln Labour member turned up later and left with banner still with rolled up.
Support was overwhelming from Hospital Staff, Patients, Visitors and Passers by , who hooted, wound down their windows and shouted support with thumbs up signs.
A supply of hospital hot coffee turned up and so did the usual suspects.
The BBC , ITV, Radio Lincs , the Lincolnite paper and Echo. journalists were there with cameras and notebooks in hand.
The Picket lasted from 8am – 12.30pm
