QUEEN ELIZABETH II has issued a statement on the coronavirus outbreak in the UK as she urged Britons to protect the vulnerable.

Queen: Royal family ‘ready to play its part’ during coronavirus
Queen Elizabeth II, 93, said she and the Royal Family were “ready” to play their part in the UK’s coronavirus response and urged everyone to follow advice from the government and “protect the most vulnerable”. Her Majesty acknowledged the UK and other countries around the world “are entering a period of great concern and uncertainty”.
