PUT THE POLITICIANS ON THE MINIMUM WAGE AND WATCH HOW FAST THINGS CHANGE
Civilisation has operated in two ways - To make one part of society more affluent and the other more wretched than would have been the lot of either in a natural state
There are Natural Rights and Civil Rights. Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness
Where Our Power to Execute Our Natural Rights is Perfect, Government has No Legitimate Jurisdiction
When the Forces for War are Greater than the Forces for Peace   Then the World is in Danger
Politics is not a Dirty Word. It is a Way of Life. How is Your Way of Life Today ?

3RD SUNDAY IN JULY

WE HARVESTED 90 Kgs SECOND EARLY POTATOES THIS MORNING FROM TWO RAISED BEDS OF OUR THREE IN OUR FRONT GARDEN

LAID THEM OUT ON THE PAVEMENT ONLY TO OUR FRONT GATE IN A CUL DE SAC AREA TO DRY

THIS INVOLVES TURNING THEM AND SORTING THEM BY DAMAGED AND SIZE

BEFORE BAGGING THEM IN POTATO BAGS FOR THE NIGHT A PLACING THEM UNDER COVER. TOMORROW THEY WILL BE LAID OUT AGAIN ON TARPAULINS TO FURTHER DRY BEFORE STORAGE IN THE DARK AND DRY GARAGE

ALSO CUT THE GRASS, PICKED GARDEN PEAS, BEETROOT AND SNOWBALL TURNIPS, GOOSEBERRIES, BLACK CURRANTS AND THE BEGINNING OF OUR RASPBERRY AND FRENCH BEAN CROP.

THEN MY BETTER HALF CARRIED ALL THE POTTED CABBAGE, PARSNIP, SPROUTS & CAULI. PLANTS STORED IN THE COVERED COURTYARD TO KEEP THE WHITE FLY FREE AND FOR SOMEWHERE TO KEEP THEM

THE CABBAGES ARE HEARTING UP  AND WILL STAY N THEIR POTS OF THE RAISED BED VACATED BY THE POTATOES. THE COVERED COURTYARD IS FULL OF TOMATO PLANTS GROWING WELL.

WATERING ROUND THE FLOWERS AND VEG TO END THE DAY

A BUSY BUT SATISFYING DAY, WITH THE RADIO TELLING US ENGLAND, FAILED TO MAKE THE WEST INDIES FOLLOW ON AND THE REASON FOR POSTING SO FEW ARTICLES.

RAINBOW TROUT AND ALMONDS, NEW POTATOES, AND HOME GROWN PEAS FOR TEA WITH A WHITE WINE, FOLLOWED BY A BANANA WITH CREAM, HOME MADE COFFEE, AND A MALT WHISKY TO FINISH.
