October news from the movement for equal votes
In this month’s newsletter:
And as always, read our campaign update for a summary of everything happening in the movement for electoral reform.
Black History Month blog
To help celebrate Black History Month, Surrinder Chera has been delving into the past to uncover the contributions black reformers have made to help make Britain a better place.
Tell the Select Committee you want electoral reform!
The 2019 Conservative manifesto promised to set up a “Constitution, Democracy & Rights Commission” to review aspects of the UK’s political system.
The Select Committee responsible for holding the government to account on these issues (known as the Public Administration and Constitutional Affairs Committee, or ‘PACAC’) is surveying the public to find out what the real constitutional priorities are.
The survey genuinely only takes a minute, so please respond to their survey and select “the electoral system” as your number one priority!
Support the movement
The whole movement is only possible thanks to a growing number of generous supporters who donate monthly to keep us afloat. The more we raise, the more we can do; so please chip in.
